Jack and his Mom drove from Akron to visit family in New Philadelphia and Tuscarawas County a few week’s ago. Kind of funny background story… while emailing his Mom back and forth about his upcoming session I had mentioned to her how much I love photographing this 4 month milestone stage because of how happy they typically are and just all around easy to work with… Well, fast forward to session day and we believe little Jack was either working in some new teeth or developed his ‘stranger danger’ sense a little earlier than most because he was not fond of the camera or me! LOL! This doesn’t happen often so he was starting to give me a little bit of a complex and I was on a mission to make this kid like me! 😛 Unfortunately I did not win him over (he left still not liking me to even look his direction LOL!!) but hey, we managed to snap some pretty cute photos and my favorites might be the ones of Mom and son. 🙂
- Lesson to parents: Always be prepared for the possibility to be used as a prop during a session.
- Lesson to me: Get over myself. Not every kid will always love me and think I’m hilarious. 😛
