week 15 | technology
Dover New Philadelphia OH Photographer
I didn’t get too awfully creative this week. Technology = plopping my toddler down with iPad. But hey, I did make some decent use of the evening light shining in the window. 😉 That’s something, right? LOL
Let’s talk toddler apps… 🙂 Being a work at home Mom, I’m totally down with iPad apps and toddler usage. #keepingitreal 😛 When I need to get a few minutes of work done, they can come in handy. I’m also a pretty big advocate for the educational apps. Here have been some of our favorites (in no particular order):
- Monkey Preschool Lunchbox
- Interactive Alphabet (with a Robot for the icon)
- Endless Alphabet + Endless Reader + Endless Numbers + Endless Wordplay (we have loved all 4 apps equally but at different stages)
- Peekaboo Barn
- Avokiddo ABC
- Learn with Homer (monthly subscription)
- Zoo Train
- Epic! (basically an online library of age appropriate books) (monthly subscription)
- Wee Alphas
- We love Toca Boca apps (Toca Cars, Toca Doctor, Toca Train, Toca Town, Toca Nature, etc)
- Little Galaxy Family
- Rocket Speller
- Daniel Tiger
- Doodle Critter Math 2
- Feed the Animals
- First Words Animals
I may have forgotten a few but those are some of the main ones Liam has played before or is still playing. Some of them do cost a few dollars for the app and a few of them have a monthly subscription required but in my opinion everything listed above is worth the fee. 🙂 I hope this helps you out!
Next in line for our blog circle is the talented Sonia with My Story Photography. Please continue the circle and click her link to view how she interpreted this week’s technology theme and comment on her post too. Thank you!
