TAYLOR + MARCUS GET MARRIED | Part 1
What do you do when a wedding is so amazing and full of beautiful images you want to share from yourself and your 2nd photographer??? You split the wedding blog post into 2 parts! I want to sure you really are able to enjoy every photo without rushing through the post on your lunch break. 😉 Enjoy photos from getting ready, the ceremony, formal photo’s and a few images of the Bride & Groom together as well in this post. Look for the 2nd post to hit the blog soon.
I’m not entirely sure how I’ve been so blessed that the most amazing couple’s always seem to find me and ask that I photograph their wedding. Whatever it is, I hope I keep doing it. Taylor & Marcus were amazing, as were their families and friends. Julie (my 2nd shooter for this wedding) and I so enjoyed every moment. (side note: If you like the many different angles of images from the ceremony, this is just another reason to include a 2nd shooter in your wedding package – just something to think about!)
When first talking with my wedding clients, I like to get to know them a little more. Sometimes this is done via email so I send a “getting to know you” questionnaire. I love the answers from these.
Me: How did you meet?
Taylor: We’ve known each other our whole lives but started dating when my sister set us up!
Me: How would you describe your groom?
Taylor: He is personable, caring, genuine, easily excited & passionate.
Me: How did you propose?
Marcus: I replicated our first date and then took her back home where I had rose petals leading to a candle lit table with a letter waiting for her. When she opened the letter, music started playing and I got down on one knee. Both of our families were hiding in the house and in on the surprise.
(Brandi again… We heard about this proposal during the speeches at the reception and I’ll admit it brought me to tears!)
Me: How would you describe your bride?
Marcus: She is a very genuine and funny person who has the most loving heart of anyone I have ever met.
